It is critical for business if the distribution facility for
some reason has to shut down. Orders are delayed with great
impact on the entire supply chain. There is a high technical risk
of this when using old facilities. It becomes difficult to find
spare parts and the risk of long-term technical breakdowns are
growing. The decision of replacing the entire facility is
expensive, not least because of the long-term standstill while
the facility is replaced.

New controls with minimal disturbance of the performance
Conscius Logistics -in cooperation with DIO - are offering a
replacement of the PLC controls without having to bring the
performance to extraordinary stops. This is possible by testing
the system with a simulator which simulates PLC's, lanes,
deliveries and the flow of cranes. The simulation replaces many
hours of practical tests on the spot. Most major errors are
identified through simulation and are
corrected before getting implemented in the daily
operation.
